The mission of Giguiere in the workplace is not difficult: To give the best possible support to educate, empower, support and mentor young women to develop their careers, pursue self-development and build their future through educational employment, self-employed work or training. The Women Supporting Women program has been working with employers in the UK for over 20 years to help young people to get on the professional ladder. The program has been so successful that it has been awarded several prizes and recognition.

The Lindsay Alan Giguiere has helped to make a real difference in the lives of young people in the UK. A report from the Young Social Mobility Commission states that more than 8% of young adults in the UK are actively involved in Women Supporting Women. The figures show that these young people are making a real difference in the lives of many women in their social circle.

Young people who participate in this program are usually at their first job and have little experience in the business world. They can be very self-sufficient when they first start out and are able to take on an apprenticeship once they have gained enough qualifications. With the help of their mentors, they learn valuable skills such as responsibility, teamwork, communication and financial management.

The Young Social Mobility Commission has published a report stating that in 2020, the number of young people taking up a role in Women Supporting Women increased by nearly two thousand percent. This figure includes every single age group of young adults - children, teenagers and adults from all social backgrounds.

Men can also be helped by the program. They can find a supportive network of young women who share similar goals and dreams. In addition, there are professional mentors who are committed to helping young men in their career choices and career building. The mentors help in developing a mentorship relationship. For example, the mentor may tell the man that he needs to spend some time doing something outside the office to learn new skills that will enable him to get a promotion in his job or position.

The programme is endorsed by the British Social Mobility Council and other key organisations. Some of the main supporters include the Department for Business, Innovation, the Department for Education, the British Academy of Young Business Leaders and the University of Manchester.
